Why isn't my financial aid appearing on my bill?
If no aid is appearing on your bill it is usually due to one of the following:
- If your financial aid package was calculated based upon you attending the College full-time, please check to make sure that you are registered for at least 12.0 credit hours. If you are registered for less than 12.0 hours you may not qualify for the aid - this is why it is not included. The aid cannot be reinstated until you are registered for at least 12.0 hours or until your aid package is recalculated for the lower number of credits. You would need to contact the Financial Aid Office to recalculate your package. The Bursar's Office cannot include any aid credits until the recalculation has been completed.
- If you failed to submit a FAFSA for the current academic year, then the Financial Aid Office was not able to create a financial aid package for you. No aid credits can be granted until a package (and approvals on any loans you wish to take out) has been created.
