Harold J. Coleman Chapel
Named for Harold J. Coleman, prominent Rochester native, family man, Catholic leader, founder of the Daily Mass League, this lovely and welcoming worship space was renovated in 1997.  The larger of the two chapels on campus, the Coleman Chapel has a capacity of 200 people.

Included in the enhancement of the space are a handsome altar table, crafted by John Dodd, a local wood crafter, a new and brighter programmable lighting scheme, warm colors and wood appointments, a reconciliation room and an inviting chapel of reserve for the Holy Eucharist.  The generous donation from Mr. Coleman's family enabled St. John Fisher College to have a large and beautiful baptistery for adults as well as children.  Its gently moving water is an ever present reminder to the baptized of their call to a new life in Christ.

Sunday Eucharist is celebrated in the Harold J. Coleman Chapel at 11:00 a.m. throughout the year and at 9:00 p.m. on Sundays during the academic year. Weekday Masses are celebrated Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m. All are most welcome to visit the chapel and to worship with the community.

St. John Fisher Chapel
Located in the Bausch and Lomb Commons in the center of campus, the St. John Fisher Chapel is dedicated to the Patron Saint of our College. It is beautifully designed, prayerful and convenient to all members of the College Community. The chapel is always open for personal prayer and reflection. Special liturgies and ceremonies are celebrated here as well.

The St. John Fisher Chapel stain glass windows are a gift to the College from the late Bishop James E. Kearney. They graced the chapel in his home for many years. They include Saint John Fisher, Saint Joseph, Saint Francis de Sales, the Resurrection and the Birth of Jesus Christ.  The altar, ambo and credence table as well as the baptistery were designed by local artist John Dodd.

Come and experience this prayerful space in the middle of the Fisher campus.  All are welcome.
