The Department of English offers courses, from basic to advanced levels, in clear, coherent, and effective writing, as well as a variety of literature courses whose chief aim is to deepen the students’ appreciation and enjoyment of literature, past and present.

A number of English courses may be selected to meet several areas of the college core.
