This interdisciplinary major is designed
for students interested in technology whose primary focus, however, lies
in another content area or “second discipline.” Typically,
graduates of this program will use technology in their chosen discipline
or will interact with information technology personnel in their business
environment. The new major will consist of 33 credit hours of core applied
information technology courses, which will provide students with a foundation
in multimedia/web technologies, networking, databases, and other IT basics.
