- a. Only one chapter, one photo, one illustration, one graph, etc. can be photo copied from any one book.
b. Multiple copies may be made of this item for classroom use; however, they may not exceed the number of students in the class and you must stay within the guidelines of part (a).
c. EACH COPY MUST INCLUDE A COPYRIGHT NOTICE!
d. In no way can anyone make a profit on he copies; however, you may be reimbursed by the recipients for the actual cost of duplication.
- a. Under no circumstances may an entire book be done without the written permission of the copyright holder.
b. We cannot copy an entire book, chapter by chapter, as this thwarts the intent of the law.
- We cannot make any copies from books on Inter Library Loan (as requested by Lavery Library) because the photocopying process subjects the books to too much abuse. Many helpful resources are available at the Lavery Library website, including at "Fair Use" worksheet, and listings of journals the college owns, which can be used without permission.
