The Organic Chemistry lab houses 6 full-sized hoods, the department chemical refrigerator and a large drying oven. The maximum number of students in the lab sections is 14 which gives organic laboratory students a close interaction with their instructors. The organic chemistry labs used are a combination of micro- (1 mmol) and macro- (up to 400 mmol) techniques so that our students are familiar with handling very small and somewhat larger reactions.
