Men's Lacrosse

The St. John Fisher men’s lacrosse team defeated the Keuka College Storm by the score of 12-8 on Tuesday. The Cardinals received contributions from very familiar sources as freshman Chris Schmidt once again led the team in scoring with four goals, followed by senior Matt Hargather who tallied a hat trick.

Women's Lacrosse

The St. John Fisher College women’s lacrosse team officially has its sights set on the Empire 8 Conference Championship after extending their win streak to six games following victories over Alfred University on April 11 and Ithaca College on April 14.

Baseball

The St. John Fisher baseball team split a doubleheader with the RIT Tigers April 14 at Fisher’s Dugan Yard. The two-game set was supposed to be followed up with another doubleheader on April 15, but more inclement weather postponed games for Fisher for the third time this season. The games will be made up on a date to be announced.

Cards swept by Ithaca, sweep Elmira.

No matter the sport, when Fisher plays the Ithaca Bombers, they have to step up their game. For the softball team it would be no different if they wanted to defeat the reigning Empire 8 champions in the doubleheader held on March 13.

Men's Tennis

After battling through a difficult schedule early in the season, including several games against Division II opponents, the men’s tennis team has found its stride when it matters most, in Empire 8 Conference play. Although the Cardinals began the 2007 campaign with a 2-6 record against non-conference foes, the beginning of Empire 8 competition has seen a distinct improvement in Fisher’s performance.

After a fast fall start, the winter has cooled off the Cards

It’s possible the St. John Fisher golf team didn’t get the memo that clocks sprung ahead an hour earlier than normal this year.

For whatever reason, the team has looked out of sync this season, at least compared to its fall campaign.
