New partnership created
St. John Fisher College, in association with the City of Rochester and United Way of Greater Rochester, has announced the formation of a partnership with the heart of the operation located on campus. Oasis hosts one-man show in Murphy Hall On Friday, Oct. 6, singer, musician, storyteller and magician Jaime Rickert held a live performance at the Coleman Chapel in Murphy Hall. The show was sponsored by Oasis 511 and free of charge to Fisher students as well as to the Rochester community. College promotes Alcohol Awareness Each year, the National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (NCAAW) is celebrated in October by colleges and universities throughout the United States. This year the week is currently underway, scheduled for Oct. 15 to 21. Rice to spend six months in Vietnam in 2007 This January Dr. Mark Rice will be headed to southern Vietnam where he will spend six months teaching in Can Tho, the third largest city in the country.
