Men of Color is an ongoing initiative whose goal is to encourage the young men of color at Fisher to develop a mutually supportive network which can increase the odds of their successful completion of their college careers.  Discussion topics include strategies and resources available to the men as they cope with some of the unique pressures and concerns that affect young men of color as they progress in higher education. On Saturday, October 28^th, 1999,  five students, an alumnus and two administrators participated in a daylong retreat for Men of Color in the Fish Bowl on campus.  This retreat represented the second such event for Men of Color.
