Here are some sites that may assist you in developing the necessary math skills to complete the Level A Assessment.  Feel free to use these resources and any others you may find on the internet in preparation for the assessment.

  This website provides you with an A to Z list of basic algebra topics.  Clicking on a topic of interest will lead you to a description of that topic and some helpful examples that relate.
   

• Addition of Whole Numbers - http://www.kindermagic.com/real_math/whole_add.html
  This interactive website presents you with addition problems one at a time.  You are given the option of viewing an example of one piece of the problem or looking at and completing each step involved in the problem on which you are working.
   

• Home School Math Lessons - http://www.homeschoolmath.net/teaching/
  This website offers you with an index of math lessons from which to choose.  Clicking on a certain lesson will take you a page in which the lesson is described, example problem types are given, and sample questions are given for you to answer.  Topics addressed include the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals; as well as rounding.

  This website provides you with a list of topics from which to choose.  Clicking on a certain topic will lead you to a list of subcategories that address specific concepts within the topic.

  This site will clear up the common errors made in algebraic problems.

  This website provides you with tutorials and help involving the operations on fractions.

  Concentrating on the first four categories on this website will provide you with a foundation for math and the real numbers.

  This site provides you with a list of pre-algebra topics.  Each topic gives you a description and some examples on the concept.

  This website will help you practice with fraction addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
