The Department emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, and communication while stressing interdisciplinary learning.

Our students find themselves in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. They work together on course projects, are hired as tutors in the Math Center, participate in and take leadership roles in Math, Computer Science and Ed-Tech clubs, and find employment on campus with the Office of Information Technology.

The Department considers applying theory to practice in the form of real-work experience very important in the undergraduate experience. The faculty assists students in securing industrial or business experience in the form of internships during their undergraduate years. Come with an enthusiasm for learning and you will be welcome.
