Welcome to the Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College. Nursing is one of the most exciting and highly regarded professions in health care today. The current international shortage of nurses assures that a baccalaureate nursing degree and a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse will open the door to career security and endless opportunities and flexibility to pursue advanced education, travel, specialize and explore new frontiers in health care.

We have programs to meet the needs of all students.
The Traditional Program:
- For students entering college from high school who have selected nursing as a career
- For transfer students who have completed some college courses and want a degree in nursing
- For adult students seeking an undergraduate degree in nursing as a career change
The RN/BS Program
- For students with an Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing to attain a BS degree
The BS/MS Program and the RN/BS to MS Fast-Track Program
- For a fast-track to earning both a baccalaureate and a master’s degree in nursing.
Nursing education programs can be complex to compare and selecting the best program to meet your needs is important. Faculty are always available to meet with interested students to make sure they have sound advising and accurate information to choose the best program for their goals.
