For students entering college directly from high school or have never attended college before who have selected nursing as a career

For transfer or adult students who have completed some college courses and who have selected nursing as a career


Procedure to begin the junior clinical year

  • To be eligible to begin the junior clinical year, students must have completed at least 55-60 credits toward the major and college core requirements (including all seven pre-requisite courses).
  • Students submit an application to the Wegmans School of Nursing for a a seat in the junior class during their sophomore year.
  • Transfer students must be admitted to the college before their application to the Wegmans School of Nursing can be reviewed. Transfer students should apply the year prior to beginning their junior clinical experience.
