 Program to Enhance Teaching and Learning (PETAL)
The Program for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (PETAL) is a resource that provides St. John Fisher College faculty with ongoing opportunities for professional development, including Second Thursday sessions, Teaching and Learning Circles, and day-long workshops prior to the start of each semester. The PETAL committee, which is made up of faculty members from across the disciplines, receives support from the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. The mission of PETAL is to support faculty in their efforts to become more effective and engaging teachers at all levels and to provide opportunities for faculty to exchange ideas in a collegial environment that promotes lifelong learning. |
