Overview

Political Science is the disciplined study of politics in a variety of settings and dimensions. Aspects of this discipline include American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Politics, Political Theory, Public Administration, Policy Studies, and Legal Studies. The Department at Fisher aims to provide a wide entre to the discipline to satisfy the interest and curiosity of students at many levels and with varied objectives--ranging from an introductory look at the discipline or examination of a specific topic of interest to preparation for admission to graduate programs or professional schools in law or administration.

The Program offered by the Department includes courses at the introductory and advanced levels in most of the areas of the discipline, and includes opportunites to participate in Study Abroad experiences, combined-B.A/Masters Programs, and a variety of experiential learning opportunities (local, state, national-level internships, simulations, etc.).
