Reservable Facilities   Events & Conferencing

CAMPUS CENTER

Available spaces:
            

  • Mainstage, Lower Atrium/Lobby Tables (6 slots), Upper Atrium, SGA Conference Room, COP Conference Room, and Conference Room 3

Building hours:

  • Sunday                                                  2:00pm – 12:00 midnight
  • Monday – Thursday                               9:00am – 12:00 midnight
  • Friday                                                    9:00am – 1:00am
  • Saturday                                                2:00pm – 1:00am

Policies:

  • All requests must be submitted via the Event Reservation Form to the Events and Conferencing Department.  A reservation is not guaranteed and will not be complete until a confirmation is sent.
  • A minimum advance notice of two working days is required for all reservations. 
  • All groups must adhere to the policies and procedures set forth by the Events and Conferencing Department as well as campus policy.
  • In general, the Campus Center is reserved for student-centered programming and activities, but is open for the campus community to reserve.  
  • Building/event hours may be extended to 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday evenings with approval of the office of Campus Life. Overnight hours may be granted with approval.
  • Persons using the space are responsible for leaving the room in a neat and orderly state.  Persons who leave a disorderly room or cause damage will be liable for a service charge for resetting or repairing the room in addition to any normal charges that would be applicable.  Continual misuse of the facility may result in restriction of privileges.

**Please note:  The student organization sponsoring the event may be held responsible for any damages to a room or equipment.  In cases where off-campus guests have been invited to attend the event, the sponsoring organization is responsible for the care and safety of all campus residents and their guests at these events and should be prepared to discuss a security plan at this meeting.

  • No credit-bearing courses can be held in the Campus Center at any time.
  • Technical needs must be submitted to the Media Center at least 48 hours in advance of the event. 
  • Food service must be provided or authorized by Bon Appetit, in accordance with health code.

  • Faculty requesting a classroom change for full semester academic classes should submit their request to the Registrar’s Office. 
  • All groups must adhere to the policies and procedures set forth by the Events and Conferencing Department as well as campus policy.
  • Persons using the space are responsible for leaving the room in a neat and orderly state.  Persons who leave a disorderly room or cause damage will be liable for a service charge for resetting or repairing the room in addition to any normal charges that would be applicable.  Continual misuse of the facility may result in restriction of privileges.

LIBRARY

Available Spaces:

  • L-100, hands-On Computer Lab, equipped with 25 PCs, a multimedia Instructor Console and a ceiling-mounted projector. No food allowed in this room.
  • Skalny Room (L-315) and L-305, which offer HDTV and DVD/VHS viewing equipment and network ports.
  • Genesee Country Room with TV/VHS equipment, network port, and conference phone.

Building Hours:

o  Monday - Thursday          7:45am - 12:00 Midnight

o  Friday                               7:45am - 8:00pm

o  Saturday                           9:00am - 6:00pm

o  Sunday                             11:00am - 12:00 Midnight

Policies:

  • The Athletic Department scheduler oversees and approves all athletic facility usage and schedules.  Each event is considered individually so there may be exceptions to this general procedure. 

  • No individual student can reserve a space in the athletic facility.  During operational hours 1 court will remain open for recreation as well as the racquetball courts and fitness center available to the general student population. 

  • Captains of teams cannot reserve a space for a captain’s practice in the off-season as this is against NCAA policy.

*Note the period of time preparing for, during, and after the Buffalo Bills pre-season camp the entire athletic facility is closed and not open for any type of scheduling.  Typically this runs from Early July thru Labor Day.
